How can I book a skip rental?

Just call 01782 535113, and we’ll deliver the right skip to your door at a time that suits you best.

When do I need to pay?

As soon as you secure your skip hire, our friendly sales team will take your payment details. We accept all major credit cards.

When will the skip be delivered?

For same day services, we aim to deliver a skip within 1 hour of your initial call. You can also schedule a delivery for a certain date and time.

How will the skip be delivered?

Skips are normally delivered using LGV skip lorries, so your driveway needs to be at least 2.75 meters wide to accommodate the truck. We can also handle awkward locations, so just let us know of any issues when placing your order.

Where will you place the skip?

Driveways are usually the best places for skips, but we can also place it on the street or an alternative location to suit your needs.

Do I need a permit to have the skip on the road?

Yes, if you’re placing a skip on the highway or public lands, you must contact the local council for a permit at least 3 days in advance. In most cases, we can arrange this for you. Permits are valid for a maximum duration of 14 days.

Do I need anything else besides the permit when placing a skip in the road?

Yes, you will also need the correct signage and lights.

What can I put in the skip?

While skips are excellent for house or garage rubbish, garden waste, and excess soil and stone, do not throw in paint, oils, liquids, tyres, asbestos sheeting or fibres, fridges, or freezers. These items are not acceptable.

How long can I keep the skip?

Keep the skip as long as you like. At TC Skip Hire Ltd, we have no time limits!

Do you recycle?

Yes! We have a true passion for environmental awareness, so we recycle everything we possibly can. We specialise in paper, cardboard, plastics, and scrap metal, but if it can be reused or recycled, we’ll make sure it happens.
